In December, Kran was called upon to provide cranes and boom lift rental services for a challenging project in Techirghiol, Constanta. The task was to lift, transport and securely install a large gas tank at the local public hospital. The location and nature of the job required great expertise, precision, and extra care in order to ensure the safety of all involved.
After assessing the job’s requirements, Kran decided to send two mobile cranes and a truck-mounted boom lift to the site. Our truck crane was used to lift and transport the gas tank to the designated location, while our all-terrain mobile crane was utilized to assist with the precise positioning of the tank. Additionally, one of our truck-mounted boom lifts was sent to hold the installation team at the desired height while they worked.
The gas tank was extremely heavy and required extra care during handling, but our experienced operators and the client’s team collaborated seamlessly to ensure a successful outcome. The installation was completed in just a few hours without any incidents and the client was extremely pleased with the expertise and efficiency of our equipment and operators.
The tandem work of a truck crane, an all-terrain crane and a truck-mounted boom lift in this project allowed for maximum efficiency and precision in handling the large gas tank. The truck crane could lift and transport the tank to the designated location, the all-terrain crane assisted with positioning the tank, and the truck-mounted boom lift held the installation team at the desired height. This combination of equipment ensured a successful and safe installation.
