The work took place at a grain-silo complex in Adamclisi, Constanța County. The operation involved lifting pipe sections to the facility's elevator, as part of replacing them.
A 50-tonne mobile crane from the Kran fleet was used for the lift. The sections, weighing a few hundred kilograms, were raised and positioned at around 33 metres, at the top of the elevator. The crane was set up on outriggers next to the structure, in a limited working space between the silos and the adjacent buildings.
For an operation at this height, with light loads but difficult vertical access, a 50-tonne mobile crane provides the reach and control needed to position the sections precisely.
