A 12-tonne diesel forklift, for loads a warehouse truck can no longer take: machinery, steel formwork, coils, welded structures. It works in the port, in production halls and on industrial yards.
It lifts 12 tonnes at a 600 mm load centre. Capacity drops as the centre of gravity of the load moves away from the mast, so for long or uneven loads we first work out how they sit on the forks.
It is built by SMV Lifttrucks in Markaryd, Sweden, a plant that makes only heavy forklifts, from 10 to 52 tonnes.
Technical data
Access and set-up
The truck weighs 15 tonnes empty and over 27 with a load on the forks. It needs load-bearing ground and room to manoeuvre: a concrete yard or a compacted access road, with space to turn. We bring it to site on a trailer.
Operation
We hire it out with a certified forklift operator.
Tell us what you're lifting, where and when. We'll get back to you with options.
